Cultural Activities in Granada, Spain
In order to help you get a deeper insight into the Spanish way of life, we organize a wide range of activities. They will also give you a chance to familiarize yourself with Granada and the surrounding countryside.
Our Culture Program takes place every afternoon and evening during the week. The activities are held in Spanish, so that you can further practice and improve your Spanish skills.
Extra curricular activities include visits to famous monuments and sites in Granada as well as conferences concerning present-day topics of interest:
- Federico García Lorca and his poetry
- The Moorish culture
- Tapas tours
- Theatre and film sessions dedicated to particular Spanish directors
- Visits to the Arabic bath Aljibe de San Miguel
- Guided tours to the Alhambra or the old Moorish quarter of the Albaicín
- Trips to villages in the surrounding area, or to the beach
- Trekking and horseback riding in the Sierra Nevada
- Practical cooking courses to learn about Mediterranean cuisine
Every weekend we offer interesting travel options from one to several days in Andalusia, including tours to Seville, Córdoba, Ronda, the Alpujarras and different natural parks. For those who wish, there is also a 3-day trip to Morocco.
