Cultural Activities in Cadiz, Spain
Our aim is that the students learn Spanish at the same time as understanding the Spanish way of thinking and the culture. We believe that learning Spanish should be fun and motivating, so we complement our Spanish courses with an activities program.
We all here at Centro Melkart – TANDEM Cadiz take part in these activities; our teachers organise salsa dance workshops, beach-volleyball, theatre or conferences about cultural topics.
Our school also organizes trips to the surrounding areas: white villages such as Ronda, Arcos de la Frontera, Grazalema, Conil, Tarifa, Vejer, or Gibraltar.
Once a month, we arrange a weekend trip to Portugal or Morocco (Tanger).
Moreover in Cadiz we have a wide range of festivals and festivities during the whole year. In February, we enjoy one the most famous carnivals in Spain, and during the Easter week Cadiz has its traditional «Semana Santa» processions.
