TANDEM CADIZ
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Included in the course fee: Level-testing, didactic equipment, textbooks and other materials, costs of complementary activities, information about Cádiz, loan of books and other equipment, free Internet access/W-LAN, linguistic exchange TANDEM, certificate of attendance.
Not included in the course fee: Airport transfer service, travel insurance, enrolment fee (30 €), cost of extracurricular activities.
All course and accommodation fees are in Euro (€).
The minimum age of students is 16 years; students younger than 18 years need written authorization from their parents. Centro Melkart accepts no responsibility for any accidents that may occur outside of the school, nor for loss or theft of personal property on our premises. Travel insurance can be obtained through the school, if required.
REGISTRATION
- Complete the enrolment form and send it to us.
- After we have received your enrolment form, we will confirm the availability of your request by e-mail, including the total amount of the course and accommodation fees to be paid. At the same time, we ask you for a deposit of 120 € which will be deducted from the full amount. If the deposit is not received within the prescribed period, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
- On receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your enrolment at Centro Melkart. You will receive the course confirmation, a written level test and information about train and bus schedules for your arrival to Cádiz by e-mail.
- The remainder of he course and accommodation fees must be paid before the course starts or during the first days of the course at the office.
- Last Minute bookings: can also be arranged by phone +34 956 222213 or fax: +34 856 174283. In that case, the deposit will have to be paid by credit card.

Important: Please include your name and the course dates in case of wire transfers. All bank charges have to be paid by the student.
All credit card payments are subject to a commission charge of 3%. Please give us by telephone or fax the card type, card number, expiry date and the 3-digit security code that is printed on the back of the card.
CANCELLATION
Cancellations must be made by registered post/fax. The cancellation date will be the date on which the registered letter was received and not the date on which it was sent.
In case of cancellation of your booking we will apply the following charges:
- If you cancel the reservation 20 days before the beginning of the course, the school will retain the advanced payment of 120 €. However, this fee will remain valid for another course within the same year.
- If you cancel the reservation within less than 20 days prior to your scheduled arrival, you will be required to pay 2 weeks of the Standard course and accommodation.
- If the applicant has already started the course and then wants to discontinue, no refund for either the course or the accommodation can be made.
Classes omitted because of public holidays cannot be rearranged on another date or be refunded.
